Our malas are made of semi-precious beads or seeds from the Far East. Your mala may be used to count prayers, mantras, or do practices such as prostrations. The Guru bead, along with the smaller beads, symbolize respectively the teacher and the teacher¹s entourage, forming a mandala. There are 108 beads in each mala.
