Our malas, a form of sacred jewelry, combine the healing power of gemstones with ancient spiritual tradition as a tool for transformation. Each mala comes with its own mantra or affirmation to be used as a conduit to help focus the mind and serves as a constant reminder of one's divine nature. Malas can be used to ground you in your yoga practice and bring you love, prosperity, peace, health and clarity.
In her book, Eat, Pray, Love, Elizabeth Gilbert speaks about malas—the string of prayer beads used to assist devout spiritual seekers during meditation. There are typically 108 beads in a long mala, and a number that is divisible by 9 in a wrist mala. The beads are held in the left hand—and touched one by one as the mantra is repeated.
Both our Chakra Malas and Empowerment Malas come with mantras and the recommendation (or invitation) to wear your mala and recite your mantra every day for 21 days. See what happens!
While our malas are the centerpiece of Celedra, formerly known as Mantra Mala Creations, we also provide sacred home décor such as prayer wheels, meditation cushions, aromatherapy candles.
As a conscious lifestyle brand, our mission is to provide touchstones of the sacred for you and your home as we honor the sustainability of artists and cultures globally through dedication to beauty as a conscious expression of spirit.
A portion of our proceeds goes to our non-profit, Tara Malas, which last year started a cottage industry with our malas in Tibet and is now in process of building a monastery for the Nangchen Nuns, who live in impoverished conditions there.
